My prayers

Lately I’ve been sending you guys a lot of tools and strategies for better taking full ownership of your life. The reason is that I’m neck deep in training the leaders at fit-flavors to take more ownership and level up. It’s been awesome.

But, outside of work, I’m diving into prayer this year. We’ve been going through a prayer series at church and this has me really focused on talking to God more.

Prayer is so personal, but sometimes it’s mind-opening to learn about what other people are praying for. So I thought I’d share one of my recent prayers…

This is something that’s been on my heart lately that I’ve been talking to God about. In prayer, I must remember to pray with peace, trust and the motive to magnify Him.

If you didn’t know, I have two young boys. Man…they are a handful. Sometimes I just look at them and think about how grown they are. I want them to grow into God-fearing men. A big part of that is going to be evident in their relationships.

So, I’ve been praying for my son’s future wives. I think about them and pray they are God fearing women. I pray their love for the Father comes before their love of my sons. I pray that their marriage is a blessing and honors God with their practices. I pray that our family grows in our relationship with God through these women. That they support, honor and love my sons unconditionally. I pray for a relationship with these women and that they are women I can pour into and share my experiences to help them in life. I pray their children will be a blessing to them both and their families will bring great glory to God. I trust that they will find women who are God fearing and that encourage my sons to pursue their relationship with Jesus even more.

What are you being called to pray about right now?

Yours,

Jillian Tedesco
